Today the boys are 9.5 months so this is everything leading up to the 9.5
Eating habits: 6oz bottle at 7:30 am, "breakfast" at 9am (toast, fruit, cheerios, puffs, waffles with greek yogurt, etc), bottle at 10:30 am, snacks, bottle at 1:30 pm, 4:30 pm, "dinner" (baby food, bread, whatever we are eating), 7:30 bottle (6oz). Just recently Beckom is losing a lot of interest in bottles and sometimes only takes 2 oz.
Sleeping habits: Pretty similar as last couple months. Wake up around 7:30 or 8, nap at 11:00-12:30ish, and 2nd name around 3:30-4:30. This summer they go to bed closer to 8pm but we are trying to get it back to 7:30ish so I can have some "alone" time since I'm starting back to work
Clothes size: 9-12, a couple 18 month carter onesies
Mom's favorite outfit: I still love the bibdanna look, they can finally fit into their "genius" shirts which I love because all parents think their babies are geniuses and Darren and I thought it was funny (so my spell checker just fixed both genius spellings...); we also go them sweaters from H and M for their birthday that say "Best Kid Ever." I love them in their backward army baseball caps too and tanks for the summer.
Weight/Height: So scary month, both babies got ECOLI!!!! They had diarrhea for over 3 weeks so it made growing a bit trickier. At the 9 month check up Beckom weighed 20 lbs 8 oz, and noah weighed 19lb 8 oz. Both grew. Beckom was in 95% for height and Noah 75%
Special tricks: Both boys can crawl great!! Noah slowly developed the perfect baby crawl. Beckom started pulling himself up on in the crib awhile back and now can crawl onto stairs and walk along ottomons. Beckom can walk with a walker. Beckom can raise his hand in the air when we ask him to "praise the Lord." We SWEAR he constantly says "tickle tickle" but we are not sure. Both boys can clap on demand. Noah loves to kiss people. Noah just started pulling himself up in the crib about 1 week ago. We are staying at my parents for the summer and have the boy's cribs next to each other and they love to talk and play with each other during nap time and when they wake up in the morning. They can both self feed really well, Noah drinks from a cup better than Beckom.
Teeth: Beckom has full bottom 2 and working on top 2 (1 poking through)
Noey finally sprouted some bottom 2 teeth and bit me today!
Likes: toys! These little guys are amazing self entertainers. They both play for a long time on the floor with toys. They both seem obsessed with electrical cords and cell phones. They follow each other around and love to play in "tents." They also find pleasure in chewing on shoes, and finding ways to escape the baby gate. They both seem to enjoy food. Noah is still a bit more cuddlier and likes some ergo snuggles. Both boys get really excited when Dad comes home from work and crawl very fast to him.
Dislikes: Little B hates anything that constrains him and is almost impossible to buckle up in the stroller or carseat. Noah hates being put to bed and the minute you lay him down screams as if he was just smacked. Neither are big fans of diaper changes.
Interesting facts:
On Sunday August 15 Beckom hit a temp of 104 and we had to take him to the ER at Dornbecker. They were concerned with his belly size and thought it was swollen looking so they did an x-ray-it was just baby fat. They also kept asking us if he is 'usually this pale" lol. He is. It was a really scary day for mommy as they gave you and IV, took blood, did a catheter, etc. Little beckom had to have blood drawn 5 different times and it's super hard to get his vein.
Noah had to have blood drawn as well but never ended up testing positive for Ecoli.
Noah loves to sit on his butt and move his leg so he spins in circles. He probably averages 50 circles a day.
Beckom has a really happy attitude and only cries if he gets hurt or is super tired.
Both boys will "chase" and run from you while playing. Beckom likes to crawl to a corner to hide.
